@syrc and I have been tracking a train for our Trucks arriving late July early August.

Currently in Evanston, Wyoming just outside of Utah.

Here's. Reference from f150 forums from 2021:

"I was only tracking NoCal from Dearborn deliveries (to try to predict mine). I saw minimum 11 days from ship to "magically appear at dealer lot". I had 2 retail orders to 2 different dealerships (long story) and one took 16 days and one took 14."

Just so this thread has all the information, what was your shipping date and rail number and also the tracking method used.



My truck was shipped on the 7/10 going to folsom Lake Ford.

Railcar # TTGX987108 (Canadian National Railways ).

I call csx and I'm not sure the information is correct or not

It says Delivered Gibson, IN to IHC at 9:14PM on June 11 .. no eta.

I dont know if it meant July 11 or maybe it's referencing an old shipment

CNR will take as far as the IHR Blue Island Rail Yard complex in WSW Chicago, where it will be switched to your next carrier….my guess either CSX or UP. You may want to try both of those tracers for a while until you start getting consistent tracking information…….

Don’t count on your VVR for up-to-date information after your arrival at Blue Island. Mine still says my rail car is still there from its arrival 5 days ago, while I know for certain it’s currently near the Montana/ND border…….

Im going to get a report from my dealer to confirm my rail number (got it from ford chat)... I think maybe it's wrong. Put in yours and got utah and a July date (not June like mine).

For all I know mine is on the same train as yours.

I'm pretty sure it got loaded on 7/9 as that's when my ford pass was declined.

Make sure your using the tracer for your rail carrier.…otherwise, the info you will hear will be the last time they (the non-transporting carrier) transported that rail car. CNR, BNSF & IHR do not have automated phone tracing. My understanding is UP will trace it only while it’s in their possession, while CSX will trace it once they accept it and following any transfers to other carriers…..

Still waiting for my Dealer to give me a report, but I asked Ford Chat again and they said the last status is:

"Received at Junction Point" (Union Pacific Railroad ) Your ETA is Jul-23-2022-Jul-29-2022.

Finally got UP to work w/ my rail # and the last item it had was:

Load/arrived 7/16 @ 10:20am est time @ arrival industry july 22nd

Still no luck from CSX.

But, I finally got UP to accept my railcar # and it did give me an output. Managed to get a fax, but it's not very detailed:

I tested mine against yours and your ahead of me by 1-2 days it looks like, so I'm guessing I'm not on the same train as you (unless it's a very long train )

I heard something like maxwell, nv around 720pm et but couldn't find on map, either way, disappointing progress after no updates for i think a day?
