Truck Gear Tonneau Covers

I have been looking at tonneau covers and options for a tri-fold but haven't been able to find a lot about the Truck Gear covers from LineX. It sounds like they are rebadged Bak MX4 covers, but the LXP version has a LineX coating. Anyone have one of these or hear much about them?

I looked at them for my 21, but they were not available at the time. The dealer told me they were made by Bakflip.

I purchased my second one last week. You'll pay about $2-$300 more than an MX4 but it does have that lifetime warranty and Line-X coating. It is in fact a Bakflip product rebadged. Waterproofnes is about the same as what I've seen with other covers. Dribbling down the sides but no major pooling. Let me know if you have any specific questions.

Thanks Hugo. Are you able to open and close the tailgate while the tonneau is closed? I know some Bakflip covers (MX4) are able to and some are not. I have heard it is the MX4 with the coating but wanted to make sure you could open/close the tailgate.

Yeah the manual says not to for some reason, I think it's the mx4 old manual, but it goes up and down flawlessly with the key fob.

Did you install it yourself or did LineX do the install? I got a copy of the installation sheet from a cover just purchased this week. In the lower right corner of all the pages says (revised 2-3-16). The warranty on the last page says the lifetime end to end warranty only applies to their products purchased and installed by official truck gear by linex retailers. If it is not installed by them the manufacture's warranty of 2 years will apply. The dealership I am using wants $1,250 for the cover and $75.00 for the install. It looks fantastic.
