I currently have the standard 2kw outlets in the bed and was looking to see how feasible an upgrade to the larger 7.2kw was. I believe the upgraded outlet panel is PN MU5Z-19A464-D. I would assume that the harnesses are the same that feed the panel, but was hoping someone with better access to fords schematics and wiring diagrams could help. I would also assume there are some Forscan settings to change but haven’t looked into it yet.

Has anyone else looked into this as an upgrade with the lightnings?

Does anyone have access to part numbers or schematics that feed the pro power panel in the bed?

I'm fairly sure that it is more than just different outlets in the bed. For example, to add the Max Tow Package it was required to add the Pro Power due to the extra components.

Very possible and likely, but gotta ask the question to see what needs to be done or who has access to some helpful info.

Yea I’ve seen the ICE threads about it. Was wondering if it was any different because of the battery source for power.

It looks like your part number is for the ICE versions and I believe there is a slight difference in the size of the panel. I checked my panel and the part number listed on it is NL3T-19J289-DA, but I haven't been able to find that for sale.

I'm gonna say you'll probably need a different inverter. Then you may or may not have the wiring harness for the 220 outlet.

Bet bet is to get a vin for a truck with the upgraded pro power and get friendly with someone in the parts department and see if there's a difference in any parts that come up between your truck and the one with the upgrade.

From the picture of 220v panel plug to non 220v it is the same plug and wiring. Also my truck doesn't have the 9.6kw pro power but i do see the 220v inverter. Not sure if that mean all I need is the panel and programing.

I doubt they charged $1200 for the option and it is just the 220v outlet and some programing. but maybe

Just the panel cost more than $300 to $400. you know how they charge so much for labor.

keep us updated. it would make a great how to video on youtube
I hope someone with a 9.6kw and knows someone with a non 9.6kw can swap it and activate it and see if it works. That will be the fastest and cheapest one. :)

Are you sure that is the same part # for the lightning with the 9.6kw pro power?
