I asked the team and they said that this is just a backend analytics update. Nothing too exciting. Unless you're into analytics, then it is very exciting.

My 2022 Lightning still hasn't begun.

My Lightning has begun downloading some of these 3 updates. Unclear which is first, it said one thing, and then said another, and nothing has yet loaded.

I'm 100% serious as can be: make a high quality, open API for me to get real data about my truck so I can share in the analytics joy and you'll do more to keep me as a customer than any vehicle company ever has.

It's disappointing that there's not been an official solution for things like the home assistant integration -- these are meaningful for folks who automate their own life and believe it or not help lock-in us as customers by choice even if the technology itself is more portable.

So yes, I am into analytics. But it's not exciting because they aren't my analytics

This isn't just a Ford thing, this is a regulatory thing. More and more companies are having to cut this off because of security vulnerabilities.

But, the read-only of the raw data would indeed be great, however unlikely they would do that. Do any current OEM's do that?
