Everything standard range would be under the MSRP cap

Model2023 Model Year (EXCLUDING $1,795 Destination)
Pro$47,001
XLT$59,474
XLT High$68,474
XLT High Extended Range$80,974
Lariat$74,474
Lariat Extended Range$85,954
Platinum Extended Range$96,724

which hones in on the narrower question: how many SR units will they offer
Does that really matter if battery content does not meet the requirement? I doubt I get mine in 22.

If Ford fails to meet both battery requirements in ‘23, then nobody gets anything in ‘23 and that’s a b*tch. .

But if instead Ford satisfies one or both battery requirements, then almost everyone taking delivery of an SR in ‘23 is better off than before.

because: the existing/prior credits were already expiring, likely only going to be available for deliveries through Q1 ‘23, then in Q2 ‘23 a max of $3,750, and $1,875 in Q3-4, then zero in ‘24 and beyond.

So, for people taking deliveries of SR trucks in 2023, the relative change is not that great so long as Ford meets at least one of the two battery requirements. In fact, it’s better for almost all SR deliveries in ‘23.

(1) if Ford’s batteries happen to meet both battery requirements (will depend on IRS rule-making), the relative outcome is better for all ‘23 SR deliveries (and much better for all ‘24+ deliveries)

• the same outcome ($7,500) if delivered in Q1 ‘23, better (by +$3,750) if delivered in Q2 ‘23, far better (by +$5,625) if delivered in Q3-4 of ‘23, and far-far better (by the full +$7,500) if delivered anytime after 1/1/24

Or

(2) if Ford’s batteries happen to meet only one of the two battery requirements (will depend on IRS rule-making), the relative outcome is worse in Q1, but the same in Q2, and better in Q3-4 and ’24/behind:

• worse (by -$3,750) only if delivered Q1 ‘23, but the same ($3,750) if delivered Q2 ‘23, and better (by +$1,875) if delivered in Q3-4 ‘24, and far better (by the full + $3,750) if delivered anytime after 1/1/24

Put differently, for people taking SR deliveries in 2023, if Ford fails both battery tests then the prior roll-off credits (but only the roll-off amounts) are missed for everyone.

But if instead Ford meets one or both of those tests, almost everyone taking delivery of an ST in ‘23 is better off - many far better off. In fact the only SR “losers” in this scenario are those who take delivery specifically in Q1 ‘23 if Ford has failed to meet one of the two battery requirements - even then, they’re “losing” only by -$3,750, not the full credit. Those “losers,” though, will be far outweighed by the others taking SR delivery in ‘23 or beyond, all far better off.

This of course ignores the separate matter of the income caps and trucks >$80K. For those folks, the relative outcome there is the same as if Ford failed both battery tests: the prior, diminishing, roll-off credits are missed by them in ‘23 but net neutral from ‘24 and beyond.

Because you didn't have an invite for MY22 and then extended for a XLT

Stay confident! Next month I believe. These first two waves were carryovers only so your first Invite may come in future wave

For the XLT invite folks, does it still show Autumn 2022 for all the trims? I assume the Pro now just says unavailable with no option to extend.

What’s the deets?! Color options etc? Let us dream!
Pretty standard XLT:
Tow Tech
Max Tow
Pro Power
Tailgate step

Color is the hard part... I was all set to go with Iced Blue Silver but it's gone. Considering Iconic Silver and Avalanche now. Going to order Iconic tomorrow since I have not seen Avalanche in person. I figure I can get some graphics added to make the silver stand out a bit more.

It says that I will pay 2022 prices in several places and to confirm the final price with the dealer. All prices listed are for 2023.

There is no option to extend the reservation and the deadline to complete the order is 9/5.
