Ford only makes ONE CAR, the Mustang. Everything else is a truck or SUV.

It seems to me that if they want to build another car, the only logical choice would be to bring back the Thunderbird.

So, I stumbled on this today... taken from the US Patent and Trademark office.

About a year ago, Ford trademarked the name, even though they haven't built a T-Bird in nearly 20 years.

I LOVED my 2001 Thunderbird. It was a thing of beauty.

It's actually pretty normal for them to protect names even if they're not going to use them.
True... but what sparked my curiosity is something I THINK I saw at the secret compound when I was there.

To be clear... I signed all sorts of non-disclosure stuff, and I DEFINITELY DID NOT SEE A T-BIRD, nor do I want to spread a rumor that I saw one.

But, I saw some cars completely wrapped in camouflage that my love of T-Birds and my vivid imagination likes to think could be future Thunderbirds. :)
