What sw versions of Sync support Norwegian?

I finally got a FordPass activated, but the tech said I would not get any updates because there was only one Norwegian version, and switching to the US sw would break at least DAB.

But activating DAB is only a switch in ForScan. And I prefer english in my tech anyways. But how do I let the vehicle update itself?

My main concern is getting the "diff lock" toggle in off-road mode. Now it is always locked when selecting offroad.

I have your VIN from when you messaged me. I can see in PTS that your Fordpass is connected, but I cannot see any connected data on your truck. It seems like your truck is talking to the cloud to some degree, but I cannot tell you if whatever you did to get Fordpass to work will also guarantee you get OTA updates.

The dealer enabled Fordpass. They installed another modem, or reflashed the old one. I have a config error in the tcu now, reported by forscan.

I can check what modem is installed now.

What's the code in the TCU? Codes is one of the things I cannot see your truck reporting to the cloud.

The DTC on the TCU was gone now, and don't come back.

They switched the modem from FB5-TCU-NA to FB5-TCU-ROW

Tbh, you'll just have to wait and see if OTAs will work. I do not know how to verify if everything is working as it should.

I changed my APIM to Norwegian and I still got a OTA a few days later. The car is an unmodified except for the EU TCU to get FordPass (and Forscan changes to get eu sign recognition, just km/h, glare free headlights and Norwegian language). Hopefully they keep coming, if the Norwegian APIM blocks OTA I will definitely change back to us - any input from others?

The tech said there is an (intentional?) configuration error that stops any OTAs.

Would love to figure out what's stopping the OTAs and solve, disconnect the problem

My BECM shows VIN EE01A23257114219N, which is not my VIN. And my Secondary OBD Control Module reports strategy NL38-14G069-AUS.

The sticker on my rear seats did show a third VIN. How many trucks did Ford kill to make the Norwegian model?
