You probably have it down to a science, like a one man pit crew.
Otherwise, you'd be on a first name basis with the AAA tech.

I've been pretty lucky, the last time I actually had to pull over and change a tire was 40 years ago. Most of my tire issues have been just slow leak punctures that didn't need immediate attention.

First time, something skittered across the freeway and caught the passenger side front time - took out the sidewall. Instant flat. I was in the carpool lane with 70 MPH traffic so no place I could go except the center divider lane (only about 4 feet wide). Called AAA, but CHP and Freeway Service Patrol got there first and FSP changed it.
Second time, I got a screw in the passenger side rear that leaked about 2 PSI per minute so was able to safely get off the freeway and found a place on a side street. Called AAA and they changed it. Hole was plugged and holding fine so far...
Third time I was on a gravel road in the desert so I had no choice but to change it - the same time that had been replaced the first time. No idea what I hit (at maybe 15 MPH), but the shop showed me the damage on the inside and it was impressive. They patched it, but said it should be considered am emergency use only. It looses about 1 - 2 PSI per day so I have to air it up about once a week. I'm driving on the spare, but planning on replacing all four tires as soon as some money shows up to go to off road times.

Hopefully, that's the last of them for a while...

Yea, I'm hoping getting good off-road tires should help. Should.

When I bot mine on Sep 30, it didn't have a spare or a jack. I told the salesman that I wanted one to close the deal. The salesman drove it over to the used car lot and found a pickup with 20" tires and took the spare off of it. It was in decent shape and we cranked it up underneath. We then looked at the other new lightnings on the lot and found one that had the 18" spare. Got the key and took the jack and tire tool out from behind the backseat and put it in mine. The only difference there was that the lightning that comes with the spare and jack also has the mounting bolt behind the seat coming out of the floor to hold the jack down tight. Best I could do is just lay it in there. I assume they were going to order one through parts to replace the one we took.

I do not think the bolded statement above is correct. The bolding is mine.

My 2023 spare is a 20 inch diameter, not-full-width limited-use tire. Its diameter matches the 20 inch OEM wheels' diameter.
For MY 2022, we got a limited use spare that looked like a regular size tire on an 18” alloy rim.

The circumferences have to match the OEM wheel circumference for that EV. Otherwise, the electric motor in the center of the two wheel half shafts will have a storng chance of burning up its inanrds.

Therefore, I would not be surprised (although I don't know for sure as my truck has 20 inch wheels and a 20 inch spare) if Ford matched the spare's diameter to the wheel diameter that the truck came with... 18 inches, or 20 inches, or 22 inches.

Based on the owners manual, Ford treated the OEM provided spare as a dissimilar spare, which then created various restrictions that I don’t remember. I just decided that I wanted a normal full size spare (with an installed TPM) so that it would function like a normal tire wheel set up (because it is).

Of course, and I did the same. I'll have to look in the shed to see whether my OEM narrow spare is diameter x or diameter y.

I learned about the EV spare diameter restrictions (why we can't use a donut spare, for example) when I tried to use a leftover Fusion donut spare for my old Mach E.

For more tech details why the dissimilar diameters are more risky on EVs, please see post #2 here:

I have a fully functional and unused spare factory mag wheel and tire that has never been used $100 plus shipping. I’m in WPB Fl if you want to pick it up.
