It most likely did. If you contact A2Z customer support they might replace it for free if it’s still under warranty.

I had the same experience on a road trip last year with the typhoon pro (new style). Like you, luckily I had a spare. I contacted A2Z and they sent me a new one. I would assume that adapter is bad.

I like the A2Z adapters. I actually have both, but I had the DC adapter(Typhoon Pro) fail on a road trip in the past(luckily I had a spare) and I was thinking about grabbing another spare that was UL listed or recommended by the OEM, preferably both. side note: A2Z customer service was great...

I see the ford branded adapter has been out of stock for a while. Is it expected to be restocked? Is there an adapter that ford recommends we use? Any other adapter guidance so we protect our trucks/warranties?
