Just to be clear, there was no intention in my OP to imply that Lightnings are more prone to fires than ICEs. There was no intention to suggest that Lightnings are more likely to catch fire than any other EVs.

I do not believe that it was extinguished quickly. In follow-up, I understand that the vehicle was only able to be moved approximately 24-hours after the fire started, due to heat.
I'd be great if this addressed the situation where:
Your car is in park. You open the frunk. You close the frunk, but BEFORE it is fully closed, you put the vehicle in drive. This causes all sorts of issues and the frunk gets stuck. Requires manual intervention most times.
My tailgate opens and closes when it so damn pleases. I do not have agency over its decision-making. I am pretty much resigned to the fact that this is expected behaviour of the truck, so I haven't even bothered taking it to to the dealer. (see my previous posts for the damage this has caused)

I charge to 85% and plug in whenever I can. Nothing will change my mind except something peer-reviewed and specific to my year F150 Lightning.
