Luckily I haven't had that problem. I bought from a podunk TX dealership. When I had my HVB drive train faults, i had it towed to a big city dealership in hopes that the EV techs would be more experienced. They repaired it no problem.
Yep on XLT. I figured this out half way into my install. I followed a higher trim video tutorial and was scratching my head on how to get the shifter trim out from under the AC controls. I ended up having to watch a 2021 ICE video on how to replace radio to get the multiple dash trim pieces off...
I have an XLT ER with Pro Power. We powered our house for 3 days during Beryl and still had plenty of battery left. We ran our lights, TV's, fridge, garage freezer and a portable AC without issues.
Funniest part was certain local Facebook groups were are trash talking "How are you gonna charge...
I installed the Putco bar on my XLT and it was Plug and play for wiring.
As for as the bolts protruding, there is another post on this forum where the bolt on right side tail gate stabilizer was exchanged for a flat head bolt. I haven't had any issues with bar staying in place.
I had an old adapter that I had laying around from old truck.
There is a Vantrue wiring kit that taps into the fuse box directly (Goes under A pillar on passenger side then under glove box?). https://www.amazon.com/Vantrue-Hardwire-Circuit-Holders-Protection/dp/B083XB8T7T
I am probably going...
Installed a Vantrue N5 Dash Cam with parking mode adapter to OBD port. It will shut off if 12V battery gets too low. I will see if dash cam will run all day without shutting off.
I'm pretty happy with the install- fairly easy. Waiting to see if any hiccups operating in parking mode.
I ordered a Putco 60" blade (Part #: 9202060-18) when they came back in stock. It shipped before the estimated date- only no tracking number. It just showed up- a pleasant surprise.
Overall a pretty painless install. Plug and play- no splicing required. Install took about 90 minutes...
Do you have a trailer brake controller installed?
You are going to pull approx. 20-50% more than the rated capacity. Not sure I would try that. Also, I would be concerned about insurance coverage if I had an accident while doing this.
May I ask why you declined?
I received a similar offer recently but not quite at the 30 days mark.
Is this a ploy to dissuade us from pursuing a buyback by offering this as compensation?
I wonder does accepting this offer cause you to waive any rights to request buyback or pursuing a lemon...
Yeah. What's weird is that the truck threw the fault right after getting update 4.2.1.1. I dunno if that's related. I don't currently have a loaner as I dropped it off 15 minutes before close on Friday evening. I guess if it ends up being a bad cell, I'll be asking for one though.
Its at a large Houston area Ford dealer. And yes I sent it there hoping that they will know how to diagnose and repair quickly. The rural dealer where I bought it at has only sold a handful of Lightnings. The trade off is that the HOU dealer is much busier and who knows how long until they can...
