  1. To repair or not repair

Yes was very bummed, had high hopes for the Lighting. Still have my 2013 Toyota Tacoma from new. Never an issue and still going strong! Knock! Knock!
  2. I wonder if they miss me?

Yes a Hundreds and hundreds and hundreds of Billions dollar industry that makes the world turn daily, they depend on those gas purchases. They miss all of us! My state had a $100 EV annual tax added to car tags to make up some for loss of gas tax, and it was raised to $166 this yearšŸ™ƒ
  3. To repair or not repair

ā€œREPLACEā€ whole truck! It teases you at first ā€œYellow/redā€ wrench light up and goes away. Then it’s back and tells you to park the vehicle soon or to take to the dealership as it won’t start after shutting off. So, you now feel as your truck is in shop more than home due to the same...
  4. Ford Military Discount: $1,000 Cash Back for Veterans, Active Duty & Retired Military, and First Responders through 7/7/2025

$1000 is better than the $500 offered by GM. So, not unthankful but agreed that $1000 doesn’t go far towards a $63k truck.
  5. New Owner - Tesla to Ford transition (home charging questions with a Tesla wall connector)

Well as a EV owner, I have never charged in the garage. Always away from the house. Just a precaution I installed my charger plugs outside. My F150 Ford $550 charging cable wasn’t long enough so I bought a 20ft aftermarket for about $230. On side note, did just the opposite and **sold my 2023...
  6. Lightning sales down 42 percent in May

Yes, but it did outsell the Cybertruck šŸ˜† ā€œFrom America, For Americaā€ Ford Motor Company (2025).
  7. 2024 Lariat Powertrain Malfunction followed 2 months later by High Voltage Battery Warning

Yes, I have seen those seven times since last August 2024. -2 cab heater cores replaced within two weeks. -12 volt battery replaced. -High Volt Battery Regulator (something like that). Replaced. Finally -Gear shifter replaced. So selling it finally. Had high hopes for āš”šŸ˜µā€šŸ’«šŸ™ƒ
  8. Powertrain Malfunction/Reduced Power, and will not charge

Wow, happened to me seven times. In the end the truck is one big circuit. Although some components faults or breakdowns are more serious than others. Can’t determine until they hook it to computer and check for errors on thousand’s of lines by line. 2021-2022 good truck, 2023 cut few...
  9. I'm still tripping-137,150 miles later.

True, used to drive my Tesla like intended. Scared I am going to break my Ford’s fragile electrons vs. mechanical eco system?! Every time I attempt to enjoy it like a FAST…. 🦾 truck a wrench kicks up šŸ”§ Starting to assume the 2021-2022 were good and then they got cheap with the 2023s ?!
  10. I'm still tripping-137,150 miles later.

A lot of words there. Lol That’s a lot of miles in three years, I only have 9096 miles in 15 months. Not as impressed with mine. 5 yellow wrenches and two red. Trucks been down almost total two months of those 15 as it was at dealership with techs scratching their heads.
  11. What size tires with 2" rough country leveling kit?

So all these examples are gas trucks, would it matter with Lightning with all its similarities and equal differences? LOL.
  12. Leveling Kit Tires

Yes let me know what you find out, I also leveled with 2ā€ kit. Not to concerned with loss of miles, only drive total 10 miles a day. But to want to maximize less tire wear and have good longevity. Looking cool is also a truck must!!! Ideas…?
  13. Orange Wrench Service Soon but still full power

Good question, it stopped storing shifter in the tray. Yellow wrenches, took I in and they replaced it. Did not interfere with drive.
  14. Anyone move from a Tesla Model X to a Lightning? [ADMIN WARNING: NO POLITICS]

Two cab heater cores, one 12 volt battery, and latest the gear shifter broke. Thinking of switching from Lightning to Model Y. LOL!
  15. Orange Wrench Service Soon but still full power
