Hmmm... wont let me attach the pic. Working on the forum stuff, maybe? Weird. The whole point of the thread was to share a pic of Luna and say how grateful I am for the truck.
***EDIT*** Finally got the pic to upload using a different browser.
Simple post. No deep message, no complaining about problems, just wanted to say that I love this truck! 2022 Lariat with 70K miles. Still looks great, still drives great, zero issues, everyone compliments me on it, I couldn't be happier.
Looks like the site where I bought mine is now out of the Luxe Light Wrap- Midnight. As it was put on by a tint shop, not a wrap shop, I'd say the light film is thinner, but I don't in that industry. I've had it on for months now and I make 100 mile trips (each way) at higher speeds each week...
Luxe light film isnt vinyl wrap.
The only difference between the Luxe and what the shop wants to sell you is the brand and the darkness. Midnight is much darker than smoke.
I keep hearing there was an update to keep you in the drive mode you last were in (Sport for most of us) rather than having to reconfirm every damn time ya get in the truck. I havent had that yet, but would be damn grateful if it happened. One of biggest annoyance with a truck that I otherwise love.
I honestly like the look of the lowered version better, but I absolutely understand wanting more functionality and ride comfort. And hey, its kinda fun to to change it up every now and then.
I posted about this same issue a while back. Didnt get much of a response, so I am glad to see others have now experienced it and worked out solutions.
After reading this thread and others, I'm wondering what the cost of a backup 12V battery is... I used to keep a backup battery in my old truck (in addition to a jump pack) as there was a slow drain... $89 is cheap insurance that you have a back up for your back up plan. Kinda like in the...
Sold my running boards on FB.
There are plenty of people that keep 2 sets of wheels... usually for having 2 sets of tires that are easy to change at home, like off road Vs street, or summer Vs winter. As I'm trying to de-clutter the garage, I am trying to sell mine rather than hold on to them...
As others said, default to last drive mode... Jeezus is that annoying AF. Makes me question if they ever test drove their own product for any amount of time to see what things annoyed them. Or, was it that they knew, but someone at a high enough level simply said "Nah, that'll be fine", cuz that...
I saw that review and thought it was fair, but then they reviewed their same year F-150 Hybrid and said people should choose it over the Lightning, that it was a better total package. WTF?!?! How?
