just had mine. Cost $37 for the rotation and they did check the other components marked for the 30k check. Knocked out the parking pawl recall as well. If you do your own rotation and inspection then you might just do it for the the recall fixā¦.
awesome! Looks like a good indicator to keep track of but someone mentioned a cell/module report through FDRS is the more accurate picture? Thanks for the help! I need to learn/purchase FDRS
I live in Pinetop and work in Phoenix. Drive down the mtn cost is $4.50ish (charge at home) and $18-27ish (chargepoint at work garage) up the mtn, depending on speed and temps but this winter has been very mild. Coming from a LX570 (18mpg) it was easy to see the savings and glad I made the...
Good to know! This is my first reader and still learning all the bells and whistles. The threads I looked at stated that the OBDLink app was not as useful but will have to look at it more!
Wow this an awesome idea for an app! Does it only work on iOS26? Iām still chugging along on iOS18 on my 14promax but would love to try it out! Very new to the MX+ world but drive about 400 miles a week with an elevation change of 6,000 feet and would love to see the data on my trips.
So I finally found the trick to get my MX+ to work. Itās still acted stubborn for awhile but is working pretty frequently now after:
1. Updating the firmware as mentioned with the OBD linkapp and then no close the app after updating. After updating I have never used the linkapp again.
2. Try...
sorry to be that guy but I have to ask which threads discuss the ranges? I searched for āaverage module voltage variationā and āaverage voltage variationā and only 4 threads came up with a few references to .01% being a good indicator of healthy modules. Is this a correct assumption or am I not...
Man Iām having issues with my MX+. Have both car scanner and Obd app. Neither make connection to my ECU no matter how long I wait or reset/reinstall.
š Yup itās on. Just wonāt make a connection to ecu. Did some more reading on the forum and looks like a reset, reinstall and/or re-connection work for folks that run into the same issue.
awesome man! Thanks for the help. Iāll try it again tomorrow and see if your method works! Youāre using an iPhone correct? I did read that android was easier to connect. Oh and I did get the scanner app to use with the reader so I figured not using the obdlink app was ok.
Yeah Iāve tried several times but will give it another go tomorrow. It connects to the first connection easily but continues to fail on the ECU (2nd) connection no matter what I try. When I was doing research the consensus was that the obdlink app (the one you linked) didnāt work since itās an...
