I got mine in feb of 2021 and also got locked in a loop with an APIM update. I almost have it fixed.

It was cheaper and more available than the vcm3. I'm excited to un-frell my poor truck. I think I need to redo the programming on my ACM.

I am going to try Bosch Mastertech II. Its the green version of the vcm3. I need a few things fixed from my Nano experiment.

I have been comparing my first AB data to the most recent. That stuff is weird. I think when I tried to fix the lost radio tuner and out the original AB from July I was almost able to apply the 1.7.1 APIM usb from FDRS. It at least saw the data on the drive. Then I screwed up everything.

Is checking the AB data just looking at the motorcraft site?

I did have more issues in forscan with nano than with super cheap off brand elm device. I might need someone to tell me how many modules I updated so I can apply older as built data. I only did a two day licence.

I learned that I can corrupt any and all data with the nano. I even broke my newest upgrade to hdradio. FML.

I think my 1.7.1 failed enough it just stopped trying.

Oh mine is an s20 ultra on android 12.

You try a reboot? Power and next track until the screen goes black? I had to reboot to fix a gps unable to find me and was just circling.

Any one care to share a decent forscan config? I now have a fancy AM radio that can do HD FM but I am not smart enough to get a good config done and have it stick.
