Yes, I read about another lightning owners truck almost going up in flames from one of those Ohmmu batteries on reddit.

It's normal, the battery management system is just warming up the battery a bit in the cold. Mine does it a couple of times a day and night while parked and plugged in when it's cold, sub 25f from what I've noticed. It doesn't prepare the cabin but says that on the app.
After going from the gas F150 to the F150 Lightning, I will never go back to a gas vehicle again. Fully electric is just so much better for my use case. If a fully electric F150 isn't available when I decide to replace my Lightning, I will just go to another brand.
I had 24,000 miles on my stock Goodyears, at 4/32 tread left, so I changed them out for the Michelin defenders. Rolling into winter, otherwise I could have waited a couple more months. Stock tires have never lasted on any vehicle I've owned....
I wonder if an update will come out for those of us who don't have blue cruise, but just have adaptive cruise/lane keep. Be nice if that didn't bounce around in the lane so much or get super confused on trying to steer into turn lanes.
I originally posted this when it happened to me at 6700 miles. Ford replaced the rear motor. Now I'm at 20,000 miles, and haven't had any issues. I was hoping when I got the new motor, that maybe it was a newer version of it.
My truck is a 2023 XLT ER built in September of 2023.
I don't know exactly what part failed in mine to cause it, but I just let the truck decide if it needs the parking brake on or not. It does engage often for me, as my driveway has a slight incline to it.
Sorry that happened to yours. I have a post on here when my 2023 XLT ER rear motor had that same failure at around 6700 miles. Took 3 weeks to get the truck back from the dealership with a new motor installed. I've put 10,000 miles on the new motor, and everything is going well.

My garage is 8 inches too small to fit my Lightning. I'm in WI, and it's sat outside in the cold and snow. My Emporia charger is mounted outside as well. No issues with the truck being outside in the cold. I just start it up 10 minutes before I have to leave so it's nice and warm inside. I...
Yes, when my rear motor failed, they promptly responded to my inquiries through private message on here, and I was then connected through them to someone else who called me and gave me updates. They even called my dealer service department.
If it was me at this point I would do a credit card dispute, over the wrong items sent, and unable to resolve with seller. Get your hundred bucks back, and don't worry about the points, there are worse things in life to stress about.
