I seem to remember the mechanic telling me they had to remove part of the A/C system to get the heater core out.

I had this issue with my 23’ Lariat. I check all the suggestions above and everything looked good. I took it to the dealer and it turned out to be the aux heater assembly. It took about a week to fix it. All covered under the factory warranty. No problems since.

I have a set from a 23 Lariet. I drove it home from the dealer and took them off in favor of retractable. $150 for the pair for local pickup. You guys can work out who gets what.

Thanks for the suggestions. I’ll take a look today to see if the door looks out of adjustment. That’s something I’d generally notice, but maybe it’s just on the edge of being out of adjustment. Replacing the seal is definitely something I’d want the dealer to pay for if I have to go that route.

Mine does this as well. If I adjust the window a few times I can get it to go away until I open the window again. At which point I rinse and repeat. It’s annoying, but not nearly as annoying as dropping it off at the dealer and being told they didn’t hear it. ?
