  1. How far are you from a DCFC? (Within 200 miles in the Contiguous US)

The map is out of date, there are several in Michigan's UP (Tesla/Chargepoint) and the map data shows none. It is good that the maps are not keeping up with reality as that means you are closer than you think to a DCFC.
  2. Parking brake fail? Wet, not icy surface

Vehicles slide all the time on ice when they are parked. The truck is fine. suggest sanding and salting the driveway.
  3. Garage too small. Anyone park outside? In the snow?

I live in Denver, CO and parked my Lightning on the street for the first year while my garage was getting supersized (35' x 28' with an 8' door and 9' ceilings). It was fine, no issues. Being able to charge on the Ford Pro Charger while it was outside would have been awesome. I don't think...
  4. Is Anybody Happy With Their Lightning?

We love our Lightning for both short and long (1200 mile) trips! We have about 27K miles over the last 21 months, and we use way more than our old ICE F150. Best vehicle I have ever owned!
  5. Big battery!

Just installed my 80 AMP charger and it is amazing. Charges at 16kw/hr! Less than 9 hours from 0 to full at home!
  6. Ford Charge Station Pro (2024 Review)

We just installed ours and absolutely love it! On an 80 amp circuit and pulling 16 kw / hr is great way to refill over-night.
  7. This truck loves traffic (kwh/Mile)

It also loves city driving with 3.75-4.5 mi/kwh! I got mine in January as well and got 2.0 kWh without preconditioning driving about 4K in Colorado mountains. No garage to precondition in.
  8. Generator Charging Efficiency

I am getting 3.5 or so around town in 60-70 weather, so if you need a generator in an emergency situation that would be more useful. My winter was 2 mi/kwh in a very cold colorado winter over 4K miles mostly to the mountains and back. Get a large solar array and you can charge for free after...
