I have a solar system 7kw and batteries. I contacted my utility (MTEMC) solar advisor which has also approved the Generlink connection, he said he would discuss my situation with their engineers and get back to me. He contacted me a couple of days later and said there would be no issues...
There is no use in being insulting, I have been boating for 50 years. I have always unplugged the trailer before backing into the water. Electricity, hot bulbs, and water do not play well together.
Now I am wondering since I unplug my boat trailer from the truck before backing into the water if the cameras are thinking I am about to back into the trailer?
Is that a one time thing, or do you have to do it every time? Anyways I will look for that, I am not familiar with that setting. Thanks, I hope that solves it.
My Lightning is engaging its brakes aggressively while I am trying to back my boat down a ramp to launch it. Has anyone else experienced this? I have always disconnected my boat from the trailer before launching so that I can just back it down and launch it without getting out of my truck then...
I drive my Lightning and Optique at almost no cost. I charge my electric vehicles from the excess power my four year old solar 7kw system produces. My wife and I drive around during the day (both retired) while the other car is charging. We might have to charge off the grid a few days a...
GenerLink version just for the 7.2 kw PPOB Lightning.
$1,099.00
Since your utility has approved the GenerLink for installation directly behind the meter, the process is straightforward and typically costs between $250 and $450.
Depending on your utility, installation may need to be performed...
When I test drove mine, I drove it to my home and pulled it into the garage to make sure it would fit before I purchased it. The salesman was checking to make sure the roof and garage door did not scrape.
Your 15k Solark should have a Smartload connection which can be configured to be an output or input. I had my solar co. attach a 50 amp plug to the Smartload and configure it to supply power when my home batteries are 65% charged and cutoff when my home batteries drop down to 25% charged, I use...
I have a solar system also and recently went on a trip in my Optiq and left my Lightning plugged in to charge during the day (10-4). The Lightning started charging during the late afternoon (5ish) so I stopped charging from the app and after that it would not resume charging while I was gone...
That adapter type came with my 23 XLT Lightning (bought new) as part of the PPOB, so it works fine with PPOB. I powered a 220v pool pump using the adapter and a NEMA 14-50 extension cord.
I have a 7kw (19 panels) solar system, 10 kw battery backup, and a SolArk 12kw inverter. I had my solar installer connect a 50 amp plug to the SolArk inverter via Smartload (input or output configurable). I have that set up to become active/hot when my home battery becomes 45% charged and will...
Usually there is a ground fault detected by the truck and it then cuts power to the PPOB 240v outlet. There are ways around this, research the forums, some are questionable but work for emergency situations.
I think you are referring to me?
The below is from a discussion/forum on here a month ago when the letters first went out.
