The comment that 1-pedal drive won’t get the most regen interests me. I use 1-pedal all the time. When I use it and come to a complete stop I get a message that I achieved 100% energy. However if I need to use some brake pedal the message always returns less than 100%. That would seem to conflict.
Sounds like the consensus is replace. I tend to agree. In reality it will be days or maybe weeks before the parts are ready and maybe it will fail in the interim.
Thanks for the feedback
Any thoughts on this situation. A week ago Thursday I started my 23 Lightning Lariat ER with 21000 miles and got a service vehicle soon message. I looked up the error and found it was a power train fault. I called the dealer on Friday and was told to bring it in. I figured it would likely be...
The thing I’ve found frustrating with the EA app is they want to pre charge my card. I set it at $10 so after a trip I have a bunch of $10 charges. The I always have a small balance left on my account. Has anyone else had this issue?
This looks like my original post. I had the same experience. Purchased in March 2024 and it took the dealer until December to finally report and give me the paperwork. So the only issue at that point was would the IRS accept their late filing… certainly not within 3 days.
I filled my return on...
I’m happy they are sending these as well. I hope I don’t get one. I fought with the dealer for over 8 months but finally got the notice that they reported the sale. So I feel better about the likelihood I’ll get the credit on my return. If I get the letter my next stop will be the dealer.
Don’t let your dealer off the hook on this. The dealer must report the sale to the IRS and give you the form as proof they fulfilled their responsibility. If they don’t, when you file your return the IRS will not be able to match your purchase and they will likely deny your credit.
I purchased...
I just completed a 4000 mile trip from Arizona to Iowa to Texas to Arizona. I preplanned the trip using ABRP and at each stop used reset and deleted the current stop. Then the route began from there. It worked fairly well, but I didn't use ABRP for leg to leg, I used primairly Google Maps...
This won't help you for this trip but I really like the phone as a key app but was afraid of your situation. So I purchased one of those protective pouches and put my key fab in it and hit it in my truck. So if my phone stops working, I just have to remember my lock code.
The car play suggestion caught my attention. I have Aladdin Connect on my iphone and can use it to open my garage doors. However, it doesn't show up on my truck car play menu. Anyone know what determines what apps will show up on the truck car play? Some do some don't.
I read a lot of posts about issues with the 12v battery. Since these have been in use for a few years (like forever) why are they such a problem in Ford EV's? Fortunately, I have not experienced a problem, but am perplexed by the issues they seem to cause.
