Hoping the best for Ford, bring more EV's, but it won't be a Model T moment. That ship sailed a few years ago. They are nothing but behind the times following at this point.
Nothing flies under the radar to the guys here with FDRS. There is only one known piece of SW they can't upgrade, the BCM.
What problem did you have, that you say went away after a 2 hour trip to the dealer?
Possible yes, likely no. Unless they need to update other sw for some other reason. Again, that needle in a haystack to get a dealer to do a SW update not required by warranty or repair.
You are waiting on OTA. It would be a needle in a haystack to find a dealer that would update you without charging. It isn't a recall, so they don't cover SW updates. You can go find the FDRS thread, and join the dark side by investing several hundred and doing the updates yourself...

If I understand what you are saying, mine is the opposite. I only usually watch the bell for alerts and it has a number with how many new posts since I checked last time. The last 2 days it never shows a number at all - like nothing new is there, but there are new posts. If I click it it...
I've got my own complaints about CarPlay and integration, to the point where I just gave up on wireless and plug in each time. While using wireless though I never saw or experienced what you describe and we also have two iPhones both paired with the truck. What version of Sync are you...
Yikes - we knew there were problems and had seen them coming, but never expected they would let it get so bad they would lose a full weekend. Some activity picked up on the opposing Lightning Forum from members here.
