So itās weird because mine briefly showed the Max Recline deleted and the ActiveMotion removalā¦but as of this second, both are back on my order. (Split screen in Safari to show Ford.com is literally current from right now)
I had an Active Motion removal & Max Recline deletedā¦.then it was re-added last week for my 8/15 build. Maybe Ford is re-adding themā¦which would be smart, because Iām new to Ford and a high-value repeat customer.
I donāt think Iāll downgrade my phone just to have it potentially work with a car. But Android Automotive OS (which is different than Android Auto) does not even support Android Auto mirroring in the Polestarās implementation I think.
Android Automotive (AAOS) is the built-in operating system...
If thatās not a reason to cross your fingers for the 2022, I donāt know what is.
I have Android Automotive in my Polestar. I hate it. And there is yet to be CarPlay support. Itās also creepy how many privacy opt-outs you have to do.
Meanwhile, the Sync 4 is *flawless* with wireless CarPlay...
So many expletives come to mind. Ugh. I very begrudgingly sent an email just now to my dealer asking to remove them. I really donāt like fixed boards, but Iād like the truck sooner rather than later :/
Thanks for the heads up, OP.
How did you get a black interior with black leather on a Platinum? I want black leather but the Platinum comes with the Nirvana leather which is grey w/ black stripes?
I also am cognizant of the tax credit phase outā¦but it looks like Ford will hit that in Q3 now, so likely through the end of the year it will be a full credit.
ETA: Ford had ~40k to go to reach 200k units at the start of the year. They only sold ~2k Mustang Mach-Es in February, for exampleā¦...
Iām the person who added both (not the OP that I know of). The $255 was the power running boards. The retractable tonneau cover was moreā¦like around $1,500 or something I vaguely remember. That and the max recline seats were all āmust havesā to me, so I didnāt really care/look at the price...
