Interesting, info taxmanhog. I appreciate you posting the graphs.
The openevse shows the total number of watts dispensed in a charge session and then I just figure 131 kw total pack size so I do my math based on the % of increase.
From what I'm seeing, taxmanhog sees the same percent...
I don't heat my garage, but it is insulated. It's been hanging out between 35-40 Fahrenheit the last couple times of charging.
Doing quick math it seems like I'm losing about 24% to charging loss, which is double what I expected.

It seems pretty consistent when charging from 70-80 and today when I went from 80-90.
I'm gonna have a pretty deep charge as I'm going on a road trip, so I'll report on Sunday after it charges.
The truck is in my garage and it "shouldn't" be heating the cabin unless I accidentally have a...
Greetings to all,
I have a 2022 lightning ER.
I am using an openevse to charge the truck at 48 amps. The openevse is displaying about 17.5kw to charge 10% and it is taking about 1 hour 35 minutes. The math there isn't adding up. At that charge rate it should be about 1 hour 20 minutes to...
Greetings,
This came with my Lariat extended range truck, but I use a Tesla mobile charger with a Tesla tap, so I don't need it. It is brand new.
$275 shipped to lower 48 states.
SOLD
Greetings,
Got my Lariat extended range and just got this from Ford (Sunrun) yesterday.
It is brand new in box. I can provide more photos if needed, but box is factory sealed.
$725 shipped to lower 48 states. Brand new.
Greetings,
I read "somewhere" on the internet that if your truck has bluecruise you can't install a level kit because it messes with the sensors and causes the bluecruise to no longer work.
Can anyone give some feedback on this? I plan on ordering a 2" level kit in the near future but want to...
I thought I read somewhere that a level kit messes with the blue cruise active....? Did you have any issues with the 360 cam or blue cruise after the level kit? I want to level my lariat 511a ER sometime in the near future.

Greetings to all,
I am contemplating putting in my 80 amp Ford pro charger once it arrives.
I am currently running a 48 amp open evse with 6 gauge thhn wire.
I am wondering what gauge COPPER you guys have seen for making the Ford charger go at it's full 80 amps. I'll probably run thhn, but...
I have my truck on an open evse hard wired and set to 48 amps. According to the meter on the evse it says high 46 or low 47 amps.
It seems like based on my charging times it's more like 42ish amps received into the battery pack. So I'm thinking I'm dumping about 10% in charging losses.
My truck when I picked it up from the dealership it showed 260 miles of range. I charged it when I got home and took it the next day. 80% gave me 180 miles of range. But it's cold up here, like 10 degrees or so right now. Wish the range was better in the cold....
This is only my 4th day with my 22 lariat ER truck. I'm in South Dakota and it was 10 degrees last night. At 70 percent state of charge last night the power was cut to 93%. I'm guessing it's cause the battery was cold. I was just bombing around town a little.
