So glad to hear it went well. I also didn't want to have my truck bought back, but the situation created the need to do so and from it I felt the outcome was very fair. I'm hoping to get another Lightning soon. I just ordered one spec'd the way I'd like it and it's being built in a few weeks...

Was customer service from the Ford factory or the dealership? Did you try my demand letter? They've gotten back to me end we're on a path forward.

Glad you caught it. Did you wash the truck recently? Wondering if high pressure water was the culprit, not that it should matter.

So for clarity, did you try to run the update while it was actively charging? For me, the difference with it updating or not was that it was in actively charging the vehicle while the update was going on. Just in case that helps.

Did you try to have it update while your EV is charging? After many attempts of getting it to update doing the other items, that was the one trick that worked. I was charging mine in the garage while it auto updated during the scheduled time during the evening.
