Since it's a widget, the info is available on your home screen without needing to open the FP app. It also gives you the ability to use the remote features of FP (start/stop, unlock/lock). It doesn't do everything FP does, so it's not a complete replacement.
It shows the charging status, percentage of charge, and estimated remaining time, but not the charge rate. This is all the status data provided from Ford's servers.
So if you were able to able to log into the Ford account, I would expect it to at least show the truck image. Can you enable logging in setting, then log in again and after a minute or two save the logfile and send it to me in a DM? Thanks.

Version 2022.04.06 just uploaded. It's a fix for the update crash. Of course, you can't use update to get it but I provided a link in the change log to save a few steps there.
