Funny, I feel I have the opposite problem. I've always tended to bias my lane centering to the right (assuming right lane, beside breakdown lane). Always figured it gives me just that much more reaction time if something happens in the lane to my left. However, when I turn on lane centering, I...
I just had mine sitting for almost a month while traveling, temperatures mostly between 40 and 70 F. Didn't lose any noticeable charge.
On a related note, I store my truck in an unheated but below grade garage for most of the winter. It rarely if ever goes below freezing, usually staying in...
I did read (twice) and will admit to only lightly grasping the content. But I plan to keep my truck for a long time. So based on this post and others by Mickey, my learnings are;
Large delta charges (greater than 30%) are not good for the batteries.
Ideally, 30% deltas are centered around 50%...
A sad story in any circumstances, but this part doesn't make sense. What would cause a fire and burn if it wasn't the batteries?
"The Cybertruck caught fire and fully burned, but the Piedmont Police Department told KRON the vehicle's battery did not explode or burst into flames."...
I don't use the remote start feature often so I don't know if this has been this way for a while, but it seems like incorrect behavior to me.
I have my charging set to charge to 80%. This has been working fine for me for many months. My truck was plugged in last night and correctly charged to...
Clearly whatever problem I had for the first 15 months of ownership is fixed. Getting regular updates now. Even got 6.14 last night despite the fact that my truck hasn't moved in 2 days and I'm home where the cell signal is non-existent, unless they finally started using my mini- cell booster.
The updates my dealer did a few weeks ago have done the trick for me. In the last four days I have successfully received 6.5, the Tesla charging update, and 6.8. All while driving my normal way and routes. The Power Up updates happened during the night in my driveway. So they were done either...
Well, miracles apparently do happen. After a year and 3 months, and updates by the dealer last week, I've received 3 OTA updates in the past 24 hours.
Started mid-day yesterday with a audio/sound quality update, once that completed, received a message that Power-UP 6.5 was scheduled for...
As noted in the thread below, unfortunately the WiFi signal doesn't matter. If it did, I'd be all set. It would be great if Ford would give us some way to schedule an OTA attempt. For those of us in weak cell coverage areas, that would allow us to schedule time in a strong signal zone. Or use...
As far as I know, I haven't had a successful OTA update. The only reason I'm now at 6.2 is because of the updates the dealer did on Wednesday. While I do travel to areas with strong cell signals regularly, I' doubt I'm ever there long enough to coincide with a ping from the servers.
Thanks....I think. I guess that explains why I never get updates. Seems dumb not to fail over to wifi if cell is not available. I also wonder why it wouldn't use the AT&T Cell Booster I have. To the modem, the signal should look like a normal cell tower signal.
I finally seem to be somewhere close to up to date. APIM and TCU modules updated at the dealer yesterday. Though it does not show on repair sheet, Power-Up was also updated to 6.2.0, which was not there before. Hoping this all breaks my long-standing OTA issues and I start getting other updates...
