    It’s good to hear that the warranty actually helped! Maybe there’s some micro fracture someplace and I’ll give it a really good looking over soon. I might as well been backing the truck into the water - the Florida thunderstorm that caused this was crazy!

    Water intrusion, automatic disqualification, as it’s buried someplace in the contract…. Even with no damage seen from the mechanic. yeah, right to repair…. I’m just old enough to remember when you could still wrench on things you “owned.”

    That was where I told my wife this would end up. As she picked me up from the service department I told her I was going to be out $300 bucks for nothing. But jokes on her, I’m only out $149.99 for the diagnostic fee! Thanks for giving them a call!

    Sorry we’re in the same boat! Would reaching out to ford customer service help? The service desk at my dealership said she was going to do some digging in the contract to see if there was anything she could do.
