I've been using the tesla mobile charger (24 amp) with A2Z adapter for regular charging since I got my truck in July 2023 with no issues. Was previously used to charge a model 3 for 2+ years prior, so its been going fine for about 5 years now total.
I tried to use it once at my spot in my parking garage at work but it didn't see my spot or whatever, so i never tried again. maybe i did it wrong, idk. i like to park over the line on the passenger side as there is extra space there so i prob wouldn't use it anyhow.
is 6.1 going to unbreak PAAK? i sure hope so! guess ill find out later.
i bet it only has worked 20-25% of the time since i got 6.0. i have to get my phone out and open the app almost every time in the parking garage at work and the app acts like it is opening fresh, so it is obviously crashing...
I am referring to REGEN, only
got it, so i was misunderstanding i have literally never turned one pedal off since i got the truck, so, this is not an issue for me.
but, ya, if you idle an ICE all the way through town at low speed and make slow turns, its brake lights will never come on...
this is not correct unless i am misunderstanding what you are saying. Say i am on the highway at speed (one pedal driving) and i take my foot all the way off the accelerator, I can literally see my brake lights light up the instant my foot comes off. my tesla did this, every EV that has one...
My two cents. Maybe driver had foot 'resting' on accelerator with just enough weight that the truck thinks you are pressing it, and hit that cruise button...i believe that would be a recipe for what happened. why accident avoidance or auto braking didnt stop it, i dunno.
I have never had...
Just a little more than 13 months after I used FDRS to make the BlueCruise updates myself last summer, I can now say I officially have been updated to 1.4! thanks Ford! knocking it outta the park!
same, I guess 'priority' means something different to Ford. this update came out going on 2 years ago! my first OTA since last Sept, so I guess i got that going for me...
Prob a good few people with one sitting in their garage now after the rotary shifter swap thread. I will be one of them in the next few weeks. maybe someone would sell you theirs?
I did the math for myself and it is basically a wash. Remember, you have to add the Fed part of that gas tax in for your calculations, for Texas thats 38.4 cents total per gallon, 20 cents for texas and 18.4 cents for the Fed. If you just do the math on 20 cents, it looks like we are getting...
