  3. Buy out my lease in September 2026 (55k) for my 2023 Lighting Platinum or buy a new 2025 Lighting Platinum for 71K

Thank you for the thoughts. I may call Ford and see if they will negotiate. I would probably be happy with anything under 50k.
  4. Buy out my lease in September 2026 (55k) for my 2023 Lighting Platinum or buy a new 2025 Lighting Platinum for 71K

My lease comes due in september and the buy out is $55k and it will have 31k miles. I believe the market value will be much less than $55k but I hear Ford does not negotiate. I have driven the Ram limited and the f150 hybrids and still like my lighting better. Dealers are discounting the 2025...
  5. 2 Week Airport Parking

Is there any thing to pay attention to for parking such as conditioning etc.. Dont want a Tesla experience. I am leaving mine for 4 days in Minneapolis.
  6. Yet another Tonneau cover thread

I am sure this has been asked a 100 times already but is there any data on efficiency gains with a cover vs not. My truck is leased and I got the bed sprayed but debating on the cover.
  7. Silverado EV EPA numbers out

Love my platinum Lightning and as a ex GMC loyalist would never change back . But an extra 100 miles or so would be game changing for my use case and many others for occasional short trips. Charging stations suck for many reasons. I could handle it once a year for trips that have good choices...
  8. Understanding my usage and capacity numbers in Wisconsin sub zero weather.

-40 does make Wisconsin balmy! I think you win the low telp prize unless someone from Fairbanks jumps in.
  9. tesla chargers freezing?

I will try to be politically neutral. I have observed that the frustration with current electrification strategy which I would agree is not realistic has resulted in EV's being targeted as the blame. Its that simple. As usual we in the US cant find the middle ground of a sensible blended...
  10. Understanding my usage and capacity numbers in Wisconsin sub zero weather.

it is a great chart. People from Wisconsin can understand my comment. A few years ago my car said minus 32. I wonder if the lightning has ever been tested that low and is there a hardline on temperature. Best practice or voiding the warranty?
  11. Understanding my usage and capacity numbers in Wisconsin sub zero weather.

Thank you all for your feedback. Very much appreciate. Question. I am going to be in Florida for almost two months?️ what is the best approach or strategy for leaving truck? Garage stored and plugged in.
  12. Understanding my usage and capacity numbers in Wisconsin sub zero weather.

I have owned my 2023 Platinum since September. 3000 miles on it with no issues. Yesterday it was 1 below Zero and needed to make a trip approximately 50 miles each way. I am still learning real ranges but have realistic expectations of the impact from high speed, temperature, towing etc.. I...
  13. FCSP Software Version 2.112.91:2.149:1.32:1.53:0.62

If I am tracking right, mine was out of sync for several weeks and did eventually sync up. They say at Ford to leave the truck off charge to sync at 1 to 4 am but I believed my synced up around that. If it is working properly give it time.
