  1. Ram Rev video (Preview)

Isn't 145 miles a bit low for 92kwh? I suppose that might be the physical battery capacity and there are large buffers reducing useable capacity.
  2. Upgrading F-150 Lightning Battery Pack [VIDEO]

Does anyone know what utility he is using to analyze individual battery cell health like that?
  3. Charging in Ice Storm

I drove through that storm on my way home yesterday afternoon. What a tank this truck is!
  4. Safety Program: 25S18 aka 25V131: HV Battery Electrode Misalignment Discussion

108 days later: One module was replaced under the recall program. I also had a wiring harness replaced because it had a hole in it (? presumably they mean the casing), a bus replaced, and debris was cleaned out of the tub. The cause of this was prior work done by a different shop under the...
  5. Weird Charging Issue -- Possibly after module replacement: Fix post #72

Great to hear. L2 charge to 100% and let it sit overnight, should go a long way towards balancing out the remaining 2%
  6. Weird Charging Issue -- Possibly after module replacement: Fix post #72

About 22,300 miles. I will check the build date when I have it back.
  7. Weird Charging Issue -- Possibly after module replacement: Fix post #72

I'm not sure how @AntJohn73 has fared, but for me the saga continues. I got a call end of day yesterday that my truck was ready. A battery module was replaced, the BECM module was replaced, and the truck successfully charged to 100%. Great! (@GoodSam I clarified the replaced module was not in...
  8. Weird Charging Issue -- Possibly after module replacement: Fix post #72

I need to clarify with the dealer whether the bad module is the new one. Looking at my charge history, I suspected is was bad out of the box because it 'falsely' charged to 100% the first time the dealer charged it.
  9. Ford app says 100% charged when setting is at 85%

Try charging a bit higher, say 90%, but pay attention as it charges to see if it jumps up to 100% at some point around 85%, or if it just happens at any set charge level.
  10. Weird Charging Issue -- Possibly after module replacement: Fix post #72

Another update: in the process of balancing they found that one of the replacement modules was bad. So it seems that in fact even a bad module might not throw a yellow wrench! It still seems like a good thing that the truck remains driveable, but you'd think there should at least be an...
  11. Weird Charging Issue -- Possibly after module replacement: Fix post #72

My dealer has confirmed a full balancing is needed. The service rep told me the original instructions from Ford were to balance the new module to match the battery. Now Ford tells them a more involved balancing is needed where each module, new and old, will be balanced and the voltage set to...
  12. Weird Charging Issue -- Possibly after module replacement: Fix post #72

I have one interesting observation from yesterday. I plugged into an 80A tesla wall charger at work. My truck charged normally to 59% displayed, then it dropped to ~1.1kwh and appeared to be working on balancing for the next four hours before I hade to unplug to go home. SOC variation did drop...
  13. Weird Charging Issue -- Possibly after module replacement: Fix post #72

@Ford Motor Company Ping me as well if you want a second example.
  14. Red Truck Icon of Doom and Stop Safely Now {Fixed Post #24}

Here's how my carscanner readout currently looks. You reminded my about the 70% thing, at least it's clearly warrantable!
  15. Weird Charging Issue -- Possibly after module replacement: Fix post #72

@AntJohn73 I also have a code "P0B24(21) Hybrid battery A - voltage instable". I'm curious if you have it as well. @Grumpy2 Yes, the same recall repair. I was planning to write a follow up over there when its finally done.
