I need to clarify with the dealer whether the bad module is the new one. Looking at my charge history, I suspected is was bad out of the box because it 'falsely' charged to 100% the first time the dealer charged it.

Try charging a bit higher, say 90%, but pay attention as it charges to see if it jumps up to 100% at some point around 85%, or if it just happens at any set charge level.

Another update: in the process of balancing they found that one of the replacement modules was bad. So it seems that in fact even a bad module might not throw a yellow wrench! It still seems like a good thing that the truck remains driveable, but you'd think there should at least be an...
