Hard to tell if it sounds exactly the same as what you have there in your video.
If its a CV join issue, you'll hear it more and more as it gets worse (it gets louder), and will hear it more when accelerating and if you make a tight turn (binds up the CV knuckle).
After I started noticing it...
If its under warantly still, I'd take it to Ford.
If its no longer under warranty, you could go either way - any decent service shop should be able to replace the CV joints on these trucks - its essentially just like any other truck. The trick is getting the right part - the CV axles on these...
I mean, with enough money, ANYTHING is possible, but with the official payload capacity of these trucks so low already, the hardware to make it a dump bed would probably exceed or eat up the available capacity, so you'd have a dump bed that you couldn't put anything in - the one you showed was...
It could be the CV axle, though you said you've had it in to several shops to have them look at it - I imagine that they would have checked that.
Dont dilly dally about getting it in to fix if it is the CV ; they had my truck for 46 days while waiting for the part to come in.
I agree with you - too early to say for sure, but - "under your feet" is relative - when you're sitting up front, the LVB is right there between the seats, and I could absolutely see that being felt in your feet. The 2 smaller pops sound like the pyro fuses blowing, which would make sense if...
I've seen these, but havent actually used them

May not work for some heavier/larger platforms
I have this exact mount and it works great - easily clears the shade and good connection to starlink through the roof even with it flat (the EBS phased array antenna in this thing is amazing!).
Question for you though - how are you getting the cable out of the sunroof area? I haven't looked too...
Man, sure doesnt look like much damage, but I'd be worried about the wheel/hub and rear motor. Looks like they glanced off the bumper and probably hit the tire. Could be some damage in there that cant be seen. (hopefully not)
I'm in the same boat, so if anyone figures out how to force the update to install, let me know.
I monitor my 12v SOC pretty regularly, and it usually stays pretty close to 100% (I drive every day) - lowest I've seen it is 88% and that was a while ago.
Depending on where he's at and what he does, that's not unheard of. I did more than that for a little over 3 years - 93 miles one way, 4 days a week on average. I made them get me a rental though when I was doing that - no way I was putting that kind of wear and tear on my personal vehicle.
Definitely not something that I'd use regularly, but getting setup so that I could, when/if needed throw a generator in the bed of the truck and get additional range while driving, there's definitely value there.
You came out ahead here either way.
If the quote was for $3k and they paid $2250, then you were out of pocket $750 - out of that, you got a 10/150k ESP. Thats a screaming deal!
If you had purchased that 10/150k plan before your warranty expired, it would have cost you several thousand dollars.
You're not going to hurt anything on the truck by overloading a few hundred pounds.
Your braking will be the biggest thing - longer stopping distances. Handling will also be sketchy if you take a corner too fast though probably not too bad since that stuff is pretty dense and shouldn't be a...
