  1. My Lightning burned to the ground

What about this one ? https://www.f150lightningforum.com/forum/threads/lightning-on-fire.24126/ Plus the one that burned in the Ford holding lot.
  2. 12 volt Lithium Battery vs. 12 volt Lead Acid Battery

So, I've been sceptical about Ohmmu for a while, primarily because people are "too happy" about it, and everytime there's something negative said about it it's the same people is coming to it's rescue / defences - why ? - I mean, if it works for you, great, but why do you feel the need to defend...
  3. GOM Irregularities

It's also winter in Manitoba. The SoC in the cluster / app is what is referred to as "Displayed SoC", no one really knows (well, except Ford - and that's a maybe) how that works, but it takes a bunch of factors into account and then presents you with a SoC. Temperature is an important factor...
  4. My Lightning burned to the ground

More like overestimating the amount of heat produced by a lithium fire. I don't doubt the skills of fire investigators for a second.
  5. My Lightning burned to the ground

I would be surprised if there's anything left of the truck to enable them to determine what happened. Sure, it started in the front, middle or back, but say it started in the front - how do you determine if it was one of the front HVB modules or the 12V battery when most of the suff there have...
  6. Deep-Dive: Lightning Pro ER Performance & Efficiency via Custom PID Logging

Which weight of the vehicle are you using for Kinetic energy and when you're looking power consumed are you just looking at battery current & voltage, or are you converting torque from the motors back to kW?
  7. Deep-Dive: Lightning Pro ER Performance & Efficiency via Custom PID Logging

Thank you for clarifying. It probably is displayed in that case. Here's the same graph as before, but I added in a displayed conversion (white line) for comparison. As you can see, it remains retty flat, from 123kWh @ 22% SoC (est) to 127kWh @ 92% SoC / 99% Displayed. So, in other words, if...
  8. Deep-Dive: Lightning Pro ER Performance & Efficiency via Custom PID Logging

So, you're not telling it to use specific parameters?
  9. My Lightning burned to the ground

How do you "force charge" something with a fancypants BMS built in ?
  10. OBD MX +

Probably worth using the OBDLink App first to: A) update firmware B) make sure everything is working/talking ...before introducing other apps / sources of issues. Also remember that the truck needs to be ON for it to work (you'll be able to connect but won't get any data if it's OFF).
  11. Deep-Dive: Lightning Pro ER Performance & Efficiency via Custom PID Logging

I suspect it might be an averaging issue too ? Since you don't mention which parameters you're looking at, I have to make some assumptions, and that is that you're looking at BATT_CHAR_SOC (actual) and BAT_TO_EMPTY_ESTIM (ated), if not let me know what you're looking at and I can compare. The...
  12. Parallel Parking Assist?? Does it exist??

Snooze you lose! It's a part of the new strategy to make the brand more premium, limited runs and pent up demand, get your orders in early or you'll be on the outside looking in.
  13. What’s the ONE piece of advice you’d give to a new F150Lightning owner?

Some are also reporting water dripping from headliner, near the sunroof buttons or, the microphone on the left.
  14. 📣THE WORLD’S FIRST EZ-OFF FULL BED ACCESS RETRACTABLE- RealTruck RetraxPro EZ-OFF FRC-4000⭐

I suppose everything depends on how you look at it. This one is "only" $250 more than the standard XR and I would probably have paid the extra ammount for it had it been availible when I bought mine. Overall I am very impressed with my XR and yes, they're expensive, but they do work very well.
  15. Deconstructing the Lightning: Using AI to Map PIDs for Torque

Perhaps you misunderstood my sentiment ? I'm not saying it should eliminate warming up the battery to "safe" temperatures before charging. What I am saying is that typically what happens is that you come home, plug in, battery is warmed up, it charges to 3-4am or maybe even earlier if you have...
