You really had me there for a minute. I didn't make it to this last line and went back to the pictures to figure out where all this progress was that I missed.
That requires that you use comma for longitudinal control though, doesn't it? other than the speed limit recognition, do you find it to be on par with the ford ACC?
Are you talking about a comma setting, or the setting for the truck's built in ACC? Since installing my comma a couple of weeks ago, I've followed the recommendation to leave ford's ACC in charge of longitudinal control, not the comma. I do kind of miss some of the features of comma's...
There's a setting that turns on and off the speed limit recognition, along with a setting for how far over the speed limit you want cruise to go. I have mine set to cruise at 5mph over the limit. Maybe you had changed those settings and they defaulted back recently?
I want to say in the...
If I were in this situation, I think I would find it hard to turn down a buyback offer. I love my lightning, so I would put the money towards another, but I can understand why this experience might sour someone on the truck to the point of not wanting the same thing.
OP, I know you said you...
Being proactive isn't necessarily bad, but it did cause issues for me. I had just received my comma and was setting it up last week, followed the documentation and used the link for bp-70 and it kept failing to download. Fortunately I asked on the discord and got a reply pretty quickly telling...
As a completely unhelpful data point, I recently noticed moisture in one of the taillights of my wife's '23 Bolt EUV. Dealer confirmed it wasn't damaged and replaced it under warranty. Not that I'm planning to buy another chevy anytime soon unless they come to their senses about carplay, but...
See, there's a perfect example. I was looking for the website, but for some reason my web search for bluepilot was only turning up the github and various posts on different forums and reddit. Thanks for sharing it.
Good to know. It was very convenient to have the comma just plug in behind the mirror in the Bolt. I'll have to look up installation info for the lightning. I assume the wiring routes under the headliner and down an A pillar to get where it needs to go?
I have a BT OBD reader connected...
And on that note, since the 120 pages can be pretty intimidating for anyone just buying a comma, maybe we could start a separate thread just for tips and tricks installing & using it, or get the first post in this thread edited to include the basic info that everyone should know before...
My Comma 4 will be here today. I have the USB dongle, I ordered that probably a year ago, and just finally got around to ordering the comma.
I think in my wife's bolt the comma is basically dead center of the windshield both top to bottom and left to right. I remember reading at one point...
I didn't even know that there was a Facebook widget for carplay, but it looks like you've added it. Try this:
Customize widgets in CarPlay - Apple Support
Don’t get me wrong, I appreciate the detailed communication from Brian and especially the fact that ford is still backing software features to 2022 trucks (I doubt anything new will come to my 2025, but this at least gives me hope that they continue some level of development.) The 90w load...
