That's great news considering my dealer not only has THIRTY THOUSAND dollar mark ups but also the earliest availability they had to even look at my truck for the recall is may 5th, and no loaners but they need it dropped off for a day. If that's really really case my truck will never get updated...
My truck has downloaded 6.8gb between yesterday and today and the update buttons are greyed out in sync now so I think it's just waiting to install an update at this point. That's the most network activity it's had on my wifi between both of the trucks MAC addresses ever so here's to hoping...
You can log into the Ford website and it will show the last sync update on the vehicle dashboard page. It won't show the power up OTA version history though. Still no way to tell what your last ota update was. I know mine has 12k miles, it's build date was Feb 21 and the last update was Feb 26...
I put the OEM Ford one on about a month ago and have the AVS one sitting in my garage. I think I'm going to try and swap them to see which one I like more. The OEM has grown on me a little but it does stick so far forward off the hood.
Not yet it isn't, but I'm about to line by line the APIM and see what is different in the as built between a 22 f250 sync 4 and a 21 f150. They come this way from the factory
Looking at the motorcraft accessories.l sheets between 2020 and 2021 and the only difference is the air deflector in front of the rear tire comes off and is replaced by a cap the rest of the instructions look exactly the same with the same mounting points and brackets.
Was poking around behind my seats today looking at amp and wiring to see how easy it will be to go ahead and add one JL 12TW3 to my 501a package lariats 8 speaker B&O "System" (don't get me wrong it's pretty good for a stock set up I won't lie), anyways had this empty plug. First thought is it...
So what I'm not getting with this whole debate is, what's the hitch say? I have NO trailer tow.paclage, no max tow, no 360 cameras, no brake controller, no anything to do with a tow package BUT I do have a Lariat 501a Powerboost which comes standard with the class IV hitch and BLIS, and we all...
They are WT21 Bulbs and there's plenty of LED replacements you could use. You may need Ann online resister to combat hyperflash or flickering but it's not that odd of a bulb. Super duty guys have been dealing with these things as well for at least two years.
I've come to realize my factory LED fogs on my Lariat 501a are aimed like crap. They're pointed so low you cannot tell if they are even on from the cab at all without leaning all the forward. Anyone else's aimed like this? They're gonna have to come up a bit I have a feeling.
