Unfortunately, no. I think the price, and lack of towing capability is what ultimately led to it's demise.
I also feel it's the best F150 Ford has ever made. It's only a matter of time before the Lighting is back.
So ev's are only successful if the government uses taxpayer funds as subsidy incentives? And even then only temporarily. To be successful- people have to buy them.
Oil industry subsidies are a bit different- typically reductions in tax rates to arrive at dollar figure "subsidies'l ie an oil...
How did that prevent people from buying the lightning?
Even with subsidies, it didn't sell.
Are you saying the current administration forced Ford to cancel the lightning?
1 Billion seems a lot less than the 19.5 billion they lost investing in Lightning.

It's simple.
It's a truck that can't tow. It loses too much range in the cold.

The range extender offers nothing that I'm looking for, but before I owned EV, and this was my first, it checks all the boxes.
Charging on the road is awful, there are just...
There's another thread recently- Someone simply swapped out their sr battery for an extended range. Simple swap and everything worked without reprogramming, pretty encouraging us SR guys.
Normal. Slow down to 62 and you'll get much better kWh/mi
The truck is a flat out energy hog at interstate speeds, low temp or not. The temp and headwind simply exacerbated the low efficiency at that speed.
It's a bit premature to link this to your shift issue. What you're experiencing with range estimates are more likely related to recent driving habits and temperature.
