  1. What’s One F-150 Lightning Upgrade You’d Recommend After Living With It?

A carlinkit carplay adapter, with the TorquePro app and a bt obd2 dongle...it has followed me from my bronco sport to my mach-e and now to my flash (with an upgraded carlinkit or two through the years) Here's my post in the mach-e forum about it POST
  2. Ford Fathom EV Pickup ($28,350 Starting Price) - News & Info

I had a Mach-E but wanted something more useful, and the Lightning was the only reasonable option. Had there been an electric Ranger, I likely would've gone with the smaller option.
  3. Introducing Ford AI Assistant in the Ford App 📱

i just asked it what my current vehicle health status was and it said i was overdue for an oil change
  4. Why does opening the frunk turn off HVAC?

I could see the vehicle shutting down when the frunk gets opened i.e. an emergency situation like an accident that pops the hood, but if the vehicle is in Park then surely they could adjust the programming to allow the a/c to continue to run

  6. (Wrong Key#72) How can I get into the truck if the physical lock is broken and the 12V battery is dead?

I guess I just assumed there were keyed locks on both front doors but maybe not?
  7. Sub speaker behind rear seat suddenly blown out

From what I can tell, they essentially pulled all the gain out of it. With an external app w/eq, it really does come alive to where you'd expect it to have been from factory. Tons of clean full audio (and bass), from the 10-12 volume level
  8. Sub speaker behind rear seat suddenly blown out

20-30?! I rarely go past 10-12 and it is LOUD (25 flash) BUT this is using an external audio source (carplay) and an app that has its own EQ - this makes a MASSIVE DIFFERENCE in audio quality *app is called 'Anywhere'
  9. What is your truck's nickname?

    Wattson
  10. 2022 Lariat - Onboard scales say 650 pounds is in an empty truck?

Yeah if there's no +12v then everything would eventually run out of juice and reboot. Sounds like either there is a calibration issue or a physical hardware/sensor issue within the scale system. If it were me I'd run the calibration procedure in Forscan and see what happens (make a backup of...
  11. 2022 Lariat - Onboard scales say 650 pounds is in an empty truck?

I would think it just reads the module and sensors and puts them back to factory? Maybe you could find the module itself and reboot it within Forscan first. It already doesn't work, so why not?
  12. 2022 Lariat - Onboard scales say 650 pounds is in an empty truck?

I wonder if you could run the various calibrations with forscan?
  13. 2022 Lariat - Onboard scales say 650 pounds is in an empty truck?

To reset the Ford F-150 Lightning's SYNC system, you can perform a soft reboot or a master reset. For a soft reboot, press and hold the power button (on the volume knob, if available) and the seek right button simultaneously for about 10 seconds, according to Ford.

maybe it just needs a sync reset...you know, the volume down and right arrow buttons deal? (or whatever it is...I can't recall off the top of my head)
