That sucks about the battery. I am just curious what prompted you to go with that type of battery instead of the AGM ? I was under the impression that the charging for a lithium or sodium type battery requires some change to the charging system... i could be wrong tho.

yup. The last ones off the line will sit in dealer lots for two years not being able to be sold and then you can get a smoking deal. I picked up my 23 er lariat in feb 25 when sales were bad. got a great deal and have never looked back i love my lightning . so disappointed in fords decision.

yeah so i bought the truck new in Feb 25. its a 23 lariat ER it came with 3 years trial and then there was a free 12 months that is added to that one.

I got the OTA update last Sunday so i have had a few days to use it. Over all the upgrade to 1.4 from 1.0 is noticeably different ! My truck doesn't hug the right lane any more and is more centered into the lane driving in That's a huge plus !!! I commute 49 miles each way , the morning drive...

I wanted to give a report on my first day of driving with the BC 1.4. The Previous version (1.0) i thought was great ! version 1.0 i felt had hugged the right stripe uncomfortably close to any vehicle big trucks small cars.... ect. I'm glad to say the 1.4 version has that mastered now...

i went thru safelite a month ago and didnt have any issues I asked for the OEM glass and it had the 75th anniversary logo on it as well :) also the dealship sold me the windshield and tire plan. so mine was covered.
