I threw the wrangler steadfast HT on mine earlier this year after getting a bulge in my general grabbers at around 24kmi. More of an all terrain tire than efficiency tire that the grabbers are but won’t get you the lift you want either. Fair warning that you will experience a loss in range. I’ve...
Depending on how long my lightning stays usable Rivian will almost certainly be my next truck. Fords new EV is tiny like the maverick. I don’t want an electric El Camino. Ranger size would have been fine, but that leaves only Chevy/GMC or Rivian as truck size options for the next 4-6 years.
I have a 22’ platinum and got the Goodyear Wrangler Steadfast HTs to replace mine at 24k dude to a bulge. Tread otherwise had life left. I’ve dropped 0.3 mi/kwh with the change over the past 4k miles driven. Not apples to apples but you’re in a similar boat.
Full sliding rear window, find some more aerodynamics in the front/shape so efficiency isn’t like driving Minecraft car and get turning radius improved.
I have them on my platinum wheels. I don’t notice the noise at all but I lost 0.3 mi/kw in efficiency. I just got them a month ago, so no snow driving but aside from the massive efficiency hit they are just fine.
I got in at MSRP in 22’ have had the truck for almost 4 years and with how much software these need I just don’t see it aging well after a couple more years as they invest less and less in keeping them up to date.
When I traded in my 2020 Ranger Lariat for my Lightning I thought I had found my...
I previously was not concerned with keeping the truck for 4-5 more years but lack of investment to keep the software in these things appropriate is telling my gut part ways sooner than later.
I got the Goodyear Wrangler Steadfast HT two weeks ago. Averaging 1.8mi/kw on my daily commute of 12...
Have had my 22’ platinum since October 22’ and it’s the best truck I’ve ever driven. 270 miles of range on the reported 320 is enough for me and enough for the road trips I take. The issues from the rear lightbar condensation, software updates not updating, and the app being constantly...
Thanks, for the failed software update that was my first assumption, seen enough posts about similar issues here over the past four years. Hoping it’s an easy fix, taking the truck back into the shop today. There is a backlog of updates they are going to do as well as doing a road force...
