I had the same problem and had noticed coolant on my garage floor. I took it in to the dealership and they found rodent damage to coolant hoses and a wiring harness to the tune of $1500. BTW the correct Ford part no. for the coolant is CVC-13DL-G
I tried disconnecting the 12v battery for 15 minutes and later, multiple starts… but it would only ever go into accessory mode. After a few hours the battery was completely dead. I did have raccoon damage to coolant lines and the wiring harness to the frunk 110v outlets ($1500 worth) but the...
This just happened to me last week. I had load tested the battery a few months ago and although weak was still showing ok. When it happened I drove to my favorite fried chicken place and parked in a place with plenty of space around it. By the time the tow arrived the 12v battery was...
The service manager called yesterday with good news/bad news…. My truck was restored to service with the installation of a new 12v battery. Bad news was when they were looking for the coolant leak I had also reported, they found rodent damage to a wiring harness and coolant lines. It could be...
Just had this happen to me yesterday. I had 3 tows cancel on me and had to leave the truck in a parking lot overnight. A wrecker finally got to it this morning and found the 12V battery completely dead. I had to coach him over the phone on opening the frunk, jumping the battery, and attempting...
Does anyone have a diagram or pictures of these connectors? I was having this exact problem about a year ago… dozens of errors and then nothing for days or weeks and then another random burst of errors. I always assumed it was a loose connection but every time I was about to head to the...
I’ve experienced this problem several times over the last year in only one location. When I go across the I-10 bridge in Baton Rouge. The stutter starts, WAZE locks up, and stays non functional until I’m a 1/2 mile or so away from it. I always assumed there was some sort of radio transmitter...
One of our favorite outdoor cats came to our homestead years ago riding on top of the spare tire of one of our former trucks. Not sure how accessible that space is on the Lightning but just wanted to mention it as an import/export option.
My dealer is in a very small town... so small dealer. I talked to the service manager and he said he would take care of it. A month went by and still no part. I talked to someone in the parts department and explained the situation and they wrote up a parts request calling it a recall. The part...

I tested backing into a bush and actually hooking up my trailer and in either situation was I able to reproduce the issue. I really believe there may be a problem with a partially closed door but I certainly can’t simulate the event at this point. If it reoccurs I’ll report back to this thread...
That’s an excellent point that I totally forgot about… since the proximity alarm is definitely going off as I’m slowly approaching the trailer. I’ve got a bush near my driveway that I can do some testing with this evening.
