Don't know what happened, when I first got the truck it was super fast on take off, now it's half that. Used to be able to beat most sports cars off the line...
Thought it was one pedal so removed and turned truck on and off
Thought it's sports mode, switched and did on an off again.
Thought...
So if anyone cares here is my update
Sunrun finally showed scheduled my HIS install for today and tomorrow if anyone keeping track that's about 10months after my initial signature.
But here is the issue, FORD/SUNRUN HIS system will not power the entire house. It will only do between 10 and 20...
So temps in NY plunged about 35 degrees after some rain tonight... Tried to plug the truck in and kept getting errors.
Took a look at power station pro and all looks normal. Took out my trusty portable light and found that there was a bit of ice built up on the lower connector in the charge...
So Sunrun is still working on permiting.... But they came out yesterday and installed my charger at least... 100amp breaker and now charging the truck at home went from days to a few hours... So far so good... It did throw an overheat warning... But it self fixed and continued to charge...
They got that back from the state and now proceeding with the permit... But here is where sunrun fails again... I had to go to the town and get this info and get their permit people connected... They spend 3 months doing nothing... Love it...
Finally got info back from the town of eastern long island and here is the issue for the HIS in NY at least
NY so far does not have a provision in their electrical code to allow for ER battery
You can't get the free charger until after you receive your truck. they originally had contracts to allow for that but ford/sunrun quickly scraped that...
the idea is to have sunrun install the entire system, from what i have been reading there are issues when "NON APPROVED" contractor installs it even though they are qualified.. I want them to install it so i can have them figure it out (SUNRUN and FORD).
