Interesting. So T3 is canceled, too.
So this means Ford is completely getting out of the EV full-size pickup game for a while.
And an EREV means maintenance, right?
I understand WHY the dealers donât want EVs, but I can still blame them. Anyone who actually test drives a Lightning and an ICE F150 would see the difference. But a salesman knows the path of least resistance is telling the customer to just go ICE.
I blame the dealers. Theyâre not incentivized at all to sell EVs, they want people coming back for service appointments. If they put in even a little effort, they could explain that an EV is better for most buyers.
I got that CSP for the front sensors but the back right has been acting up since we got the car. Going back in for that later this month, may have to remove the bumper to change a sensor.
My Lightning went in for a HVB issue and I hoped they would fix my frunk opening issue and a parking sensor issue.
The notes from the tech are quite laughable. They âchanged the heightâ of the frunk (as if I didnât try that a dozen times) and then cleaned dirt of the parking sensor.
Safe to...
My â23 Lariat is at the dealer for this now. 22,500 problem-free miles. Then we got a âPowertrain malfunctionâ and âhigh voltage battery warningâ. Dealer service dept confirmed it was a module today. Part is ordered.
I really, really hope this isnât going to be a chronic problem.
I got a Fordpass notification today!
âŚnot Bluecruise 1.4. Itâs a powertrain fault and high voltage battery warning. Cool cool. I guess the dealer will look at that on Monday when they are diagnosing my frunk that only opens one foot now.
Possible for the dealer to also update my car to have 1.4?!
