Why does page 8 of the manual show how to use it?

I happen to live 10 miles from the Huntley ford dealership and need to take my Flash in because PAAK no longer works also can’t enter code to drive. Yes we spent the entire day yesterday trying to get our 3 IPhones to work. I’ll let you know how they do. No I did buy from them. tom
