Look I don’t want to argue about it, I’ve seen the challenges of it first hand.
Not to say it can’t be done or won’t be, just a challenge.
Think about iPhone 11 and iPhone 12. Both have inductive charging, but only 12 has magnets that align it perfectly every time.
It isn’t because it’s cool...
See I thought someone was doing it lol. I know a little bit about this stuff, and it will be interesting to see it in action.
Suffice to say it is extremely complicated.
I think there would be some feedback/technical/safety issues to allow this type of charge while driving.
Ultimately I think the future is wireless charging built into the road. I think there is talk of doing it or it’s actually being tested or done somewhere now. But until we can build a road...
Wild. So I logged out, removed app (iPhone), turned phone off and back on, downloaded app and logged back in and the lightning is gone!
Shows my truck with the tow mirrors and everything, though the passenger side tow mirror seems to have a regular mirror superimposed over the top of it, but...
Gotcha. That was exactly my experience at lunch today. With just lane keeping on, it drifts until it sees the lane and bounces you back to center. It kinda centers it but eventually you drift to the other side or the same side and it does it again.
When I had adaptive cruise active, it...
I’ll have to play with it a bit this weekend. I probably turned the assist part of it off. I’m unclear if it works independent of adaptive cruise, but I know when I have both on, the truck pretty much drives itself, save for a steering wheel input to show you have your hands on the wheel. Of...
I'm confused. I have a lane keeping button, is that the same as lane centering? I can turn this on independent of cruise iirc, and I can either have it shake the wheel or have to steer it back into the lane or both.
You're not missing much imo. I want to say that tbh, I wouldn't enable this feature unless I was going on vacation and letting my truck sit for a week or something. Thing is, I just went on vacation for a week, and I did not enable the feature.
I tried it once and I found it more annoying...
Funny, I had the stickers on my first trailer, again I still had problem with location, but I found myself never using the pro trailer thing and just doing it myself. I'm hoping the system, cameras, and the sensor have all stepped up some since 2018 and it will become useful to me. I didn't...
I was on the fence about the superduty myself. It may be the next truck after this one, but It just wouldn't fit in my garage the way I wanted it equipped. We may be done with camping in a couple years anyways, and I don't plan on moving up from my current trailer, so if we keep camping, I...
This is pretty well documented on the forums, yet dealers aren't always in the "know" about it for some reason.
Anyway, depending on when yours was built, you could have the kit or the stickers. Early built trucks came with the kit because software for sync 4 wasn't ready. Later built trucks...
