I'm in the same boat. I dont want to give up my reservation cause I feel like I've earned the right to hold on to it for this long, but back then, it was advertised at what i thought was a "reasonable price" given the tax credits and whatnot. Had alot of us early reservation holders known...

By the time ford "invites" me since reserving on the 19th, the truck will be over 100k....ya know from supply costs and inflation. My 45k xlt seems more appealing to keep the longer they make me wait. Was exciting at the reveal, but that has since worn off.

Alternative I think would be the powerboost. As it goes 700 miles on a tank and the wife gets 24mpg. With the on board generator abd multitude of other features...if ford leaves me out fir much longer from being able to order a Lightning, I may just get another abd forger the whole thing.

Same here. Three f150s in my driveway...no calls, no invites, no nothing. Reserved 5/19/22. Folks can say what they want about allocations.. but dealers and handshakes made ford the success it is today. Not paying 90k for a truck, just cause they want to charge that now.

I vowed not to get an SR of anything agsin after having my SR Model 3. Simply because it took at least 70 miles from the battery to go 50 road miles. In the winter, thst won't work to get me hone as I live 50 miles from work, especially if I need I've still got the 40 amp outlet from my Model...

These trucks are getting seriously expensive. With the price of the ERs being over the cap to get the credit, sure makes one think about just how high that payment is gonna be.

So will the aluminum painted finish resist scratches, like pet claw scratches? I'm wondering because I have pets that like to lay on my current cover and they still have front claws and wonder if they might scratches the finish.

Well said bro. Still waiting in line for my Nebraska Dealer to call. Small dealership, but we have a good relationship. I reserved evening of day 1. Just still waiting....meanwhile, price is going up up up.

What made you folks go with the peragon over the bakflip mx4? Just curious since they seem very similar.
