I went from a 23 to 24 and I did that because I was able to get 0% apr. I also removed 20k miles with the swap. Looking back, I don’t really think it was worth it other than the 0% apr but it do cost me having to absorb the loss on the 23.

I really don’t notice the heat pump much other than I think the mileage is a bit better during the winter. It’s not significantly more but I think it’s overall better.
In 24 and above you lose Park assist and Brake controller. The Self Park assist I wasn’t ever able to get to work the one time I tried it. Never tried it again so don’t know how important that might be to some.
The brake controller is nice but I only tow large vehicles a couple times a year.

Good luck with your decision.

The cost difference for getting a newer one seems pretty small for the difference in what you're getting at least in terms of mileage and warranty. If you found a new one that you like, I'd look into jumping ASAP while it's still available, and while there's still a selection to choose from if that unit sells under you.

I'm sure it will boil down to what you consider the best deal when the deal making is complete, but I'm thinking there likely won't be a wrong decision either way since either path keeps you in a top-tier EV pickup, likely the best invented in history, that's fun, efficient, and future-proof for years. Go with what fits your budget at the time, driving needs and perhaps changes, and excitement level. SUMMARY: Both options are solid winners.

Tough decision to be sure!
My concern is FoMoCo commitment to supporting the Lightning parts and software updates. Navigation software needs serious upgrades and “1-button” battery preconditioning for DC fast charging especially for cold climate owners. The only preconditioning DC fast charging now offered is using their NAV app which is not up-to-date with DC fast chargers and includes Ford dealers that are always in use or blocked with ICE vehicles.
