Many thanks to everyone who suggested a firmware issue - it seems like (now that the unit has been operational for 3 or 4 days) that it is no longer crashing. So I guess the firmware updated? It IS charging a little slower when it's hot out (throttling I guess due to temps) but no longer...

Just one quibble - I love PlugShare, but to say it "doesn't miss chargers" is just not correct. It is crowd-sourced, so by it's very definition, people will find chargers that it doesn't know about yet. I myself have "added" two chargers that PlugShare did not know about. FWIW those chargers...

Yes, before our cursed early spring here in Oregon, we had a pretty long stretch were it didnt get above freezing, and I had some heavy ice buildup underneath - it caused some interesting creaking and popping noises when turning. Went away as soon as it melted.

Welcome to the family! If I can make a suggestion (learned the hard way) - first thing you should do is learn how to estimate your range by SOC% and efficiency. Don't pay attention to the Guess-o-meter (don't ask me how I learned this!)
