Good news! Can I pull fuse 32 instead? Can you please include the screenshot of the 4.2.1 update? I haven’t reset my truck for almost a month. It’s been frozen since Feb 22.
To all of you with a MY23 experiencing FordPass connectivity issues:
This morning I recieved the 4.2.1 PowerUp update, I have been informed this contains the official fix for the FordPass communication errors.
For those of you who are still having issues, please disconnect your 12v battery to...
4.2.1 came in yesterday after I got home. I noticed the K/Mile were a little lower than normal on the way home. Maybe it was charging the LVB on the way home and did the update while it was connected to home WIFI. I don't see any differences yet, but I have not looked around much either.
I received 4.2.1 last night while I was eating dinner at a friend's. MY23 Lariat ER built in December. I live in a very warm area, 75+F daily already, so I imagine my 12V is plenty healthy. I have had no modem issues like many other MY23 owners have reported.
I don't use:
wireless carplay
wifi hotspot
wifi connection to my home router (you don't need it for updates)
blutooth phone connection

I recommend...
My Oct 22 build Lariat ER on 4.2.1 just started showing this issue with no cellular connectivity and the menu not populating.
I pulled fuse 32 for a few minutes, but that didn't work. I then toggled Wireless Projection (I use Wireless CarPlay) on off a few times, disabled WiFi (since I have...
I’m wondering if they pulled it in lieu of the below upcoming beta. I went from 4.1.1 to 4.2.1 and never got 4.1.2 or 4.1.3.

Hi
We’re excited to introduce Video Streaming* beta as part of an upcoming Ford Power-Up software update. With it you can seamlessly access...
Maybe I've been lucky but I have 4.2.1 and I don't find the UI unresponsive, wireless CarPlay works just fine and the wireless phone charger works just fine.
Maybe 4.2.1 was just a way to take it away from those that shouldn’t have had it, since all of the features seemingly came with 4.1.1, but then why were they say that it can be used with Wi-Fi?
Yes after 4.2.1 installed mine was gone too. I sent feedback to ford. Hoping it’s just a bug, and not intentional.
I read that if you add the connected services plan it returns, but I’m not paying $10 a month to confirm.
