It took a few cycles, but yes it did. The same goes with the other update recently to 4.2.1. I see a large download (usually several MB in size), and then either that morning or a few days later it gets updated.
So what is it that's being downloaded? My car and truck are on my home Wi-Fi as well but those size files in your example are extremely small compared to what GWM, APIM, and TCU update sizes are. Most APIM updates are between 3-6.5 GB as an example.
I stand by my assertion that updates...
Anyone with iPhone iOS 16.4 notice that the new app got funky ?
When I got the new Ford Pass app (4.25) with 4.2.1, the app's GPS map, location of vehicle, and Securialert went crazy.
Then I just got 4.2.2 yesterday and now the issues have stopped.
Could it be that 4.2.2 also had fixes to the...

I beg to differ on the updates don’t come over Wi-Fi. In fact, that’s where major my updates comes from. My truck just updated to 4.2.1, and I saw the update download to the truck.
...have 2 UI operating systems (SYNC 4 and 4a) while using a singular revision system across both (Ford Power Up). All trims can recieve the same updates for various modules (and have the same revision number, like the multiple releases of 4.2.1), yet some updates are unique to the SYNC version...
So while my FP has worked consistently since getting 4.2.1 (and 4.2.1.2 a few days later) I can't say the same for the mobile hotspot. I had to pull the battery this morning to get the hotspot to function again after waiting 5 days hoping it would clear on its own. So....progress...but still...
...gotten the new UI update.
Also- My truck is a blend date 5/20/22 and I typically receive most updates day of. It looks like this update (4.2.1.2) is only or MY 23 and maybe late MY 22?
I'm on 4.2.1 with new UI.
These Powerup Updates and their numbering structures are wild. Early on...
Same for me. MY23 Lariat. I never got the prior updates with the UI enhancements but I got both 4.2.1 and 4.2.1.2 after putting the truck on an overnight trickle charge.
...charge status.
My FP currently shows the last OTA I had was 3.3.1 back on August 7th...but my truck software updates page says it completed 4.2.1, and that was on the 20th of Feb.
So FP is the usual hot mess. They make changes and do updates...and the mess changes a bit...but it's still...
OTA might be naturally in queue since you already have 4.1.x.
I'd wait for it since there are some who haven't received updates since 3.5.1.
My '22 Lightning is enrolled in EA and received updates when first rolled out.
Currently my '22 is at 4.2.1 as of February.
My Sync revision is 640. Same revision since I’ve had it.
Sorry, no Revision number change, I’m going say no update vs phantom screen.
The rev version is same at pickup (rev 640). Not missing updates, cause I don’t know what I’m missing. Thanks tho!
...leaving it off a bit longer It started fine. I drove to the Dealership I use for service and had them read the codes. It showed a hybrid power system failure warning and a charging system error. I have a service scheduled for next week.
What version are you running? I was just updated to 4.2.1.
