The first truck update I've received since PU 6.8 in mid-December was Priority Update-23-PU1113-UNX-DC...
Call Ford; there’s a number on the CSP instruction booklet if I remember correctly.
They had to transfer me a couple of times, but I wound up with the EV support team. They checked with the IT team and a couple of days later informed me they were going to fedex a replacement to me. It arrived...
Well I'm really glad you're explaining this. Before if I wasn't a customer before I sure ain't now.
So using the expensive Sunrun option gets you 40A of capability but using the plug and play method of an old school generator switch gets you 30A of capability?
the MAX power output of the LIGHTNING will always be your limiting factor, which is 9.6kw or 40amps at 240 volts, with the HIS system. It will be limited to 30amps at 240 volts if you manually use the bed's 30amp outlet, instead.
Your power needs in your home will ALWAYS dictate whether you can...
...it’ll vary greatly especially depending on geographic location and their installers. I have already priced the PowerShare from another Tesla installer and it’ll be around $4500.
So to me it’s better than the estimates of the home integration kit hardware and installation cost. From Ford and...
I thought it was PowerShare credit for installation that still runs from $6-$10k?
I mean your paying an extra $50k from the original price, so a $4k bonus to use their installers is nothing to Tesla.
But still much better than garbage SunRun
Curious how have your customer care experiences been when calling Ford? Long waits, bouncing around, do they remember who you are or what you called about last time you called etc etc? I got bounced around 3 times just calling to return a sunshade and didn’t have other channels to use I.e. chat...
My dealer forgot to order my Lightening, and when it finally came they insisted I pay about $700 for the charger that I insisted should have come free with the truck. Months later Sunrun sent me a second charger. I returned the second charger to the dealer and they refunded my earlier payment.
I have a wallbox plus that looks just like the one pictured above. It charges up to 48 AMPS
The app has been flawless. I’d recommend it to anyone.
You’ll need to check the sticker to see if you have the 40 or 48 AMP version
The fcsp comes included with ER versions and was shipped by Sunrun automatically.
It can be configured to fit almost any panel as it has internal hardware setting to reduce the amperage, mine is set for 48a on a 60a breaker and it works great.
Your dealer must have had some promotion for the...
...my Extended Range Lightning XLT last week and the dealership sent me home with a Wallbox Pulsar Plus charger. Then today I got a package from SunRun with a Ford Station Pro unexpectedly. I just read online that ER models come with the Ford Station Pro, the dealership never mentioned this...
...shut down the Dark Start battery of the HIS unit via the M Professional app Menu, Additional Feature, DS Battery).
Someone high up on the Sunrun/Ford troubleshooting team for the Home Integration System told me that regarding power transfer, ignore the Connection Lost notices in the FordPass...
As @TaxmanHog said it's a Ford/Siemens issue and Ford won't do crap about it. I've had the same issues you've had since day 1 and had multiple cases opened and closed on it. They've blamed my electrician, my wifi, told me to buy a wifi extender, blamed the cloud, and then finally told my...
I have to do this all the time - at least every two weeks - it's quite annoying because you lose any charging time records when it's not connected.
@Ford Motor Company - Do you know if SunRun is working on some type of fix for this issue long term?
