On the Mach E forum, a member there said his neighbor owns an independent shop and was going to bring his pc home to update his Mach E over the weekend. He tried to log in to FDRS yesterday and his account got banned.
I checked you ab data and it seems like HD radio is enabled in both the APIM and the ACM. I can also see you got an ACM update in June and two APIM updates (one in July and one in August). What I am not sure is if the data I am seeing online is accurate or not. If you have FORScan, check what...
Like I said in the gen14 forum: Going forward, anyone who buys a 2-day license will have to volunteer to check for people before it expires (or gets banned) once they do everything they need to do with their license. The VIN checking party is officially over.
Ok, lmk if it shows a pending update for it or not. We can side-load it if needed.
In the vehicle info page, click the SCCM to bring up the list of guided routines like the PMI. Then, do a control f and type F188 into the search bar and see what the strategy the SCCM is on and we can compare...
It is possible that you updated other modules that require the SCCM be updated to prevent incompatibilities. When you tried the PMI and FDRS asked if it was the original module, did you say yes or no?
Did you add the heated steering wheel or do anything with the SCCM, or is everything as it came from factory?
Did the code pop up after you updated the SCCM, or was the SCCM not one of the modules you updated?
@KDF150 Message me the VIN and I'll poke around to see if I see anything useful.
As mentioned, if your truck has the latest IPMA software, lane cnetering and BC will not work without have the seatbelt on.
Anyone with an active FDRS license? Need the HVAC files for a 2022-2023 PowerBoost. I have the VIN of one and can walk you through how to get the files if you don't know how to. Thanks.
Disregard; git it done.
The only time I have even seen that message is if I try to connect to a vehicle without being plugged into it. If you haven't already, check to make sure the USB cable that plugs into the dongle is seated properly. I have never heard of a case where a Mongoose goes bad, but I guess it's also a...
Ford does provide loaners/rentals. However, they will not authorize it without a diagnosis. So, when a vehicle craps out and ends up at the dealer, they have to verify the problem before they can give you a loaner even if the vehicle had to be towed in.
I had a TSB done last month where they...
When I recalibrated my IPMA with FDRS after the level, FDRS specifically tells you that it is not designed for this and if the suspension was modified, to not measure the wheel arch height and return the vehicle back to stock.
I completely ignored the message, measured the wheel arch heights...
You sent me your VIN before. I see they have not sent you any OTA's in a while, but your modem seems to be working just fine. It reported itself to the cloud as recently as today at 11:22am and it is not reporting any codes that would indicate any connectivity issues. Matter of fact, it is not...
In that case, it would be easy. FORScan will only show the file that goes in each location, so you can't make a mistake. I doubt you stand to gain anything from updating that module that warrants the side-load process, though.
The tricky part is knowing where the files go. In the case of the OBCC, it may be much easier than the BCM since I doubt it has so many config files. Plug in with beta and post a screenshot of what the programming page looks like. If the OBCC is just one of each (one strat, one config and/or...
Well, seeing that you and I are in the same FDRS boat up shits' creeek with no paddle, I can't ask somebody to get me files every time someone wants to do it, so we will have to make due.
I'm sure not paying for $1200 a year to Ford to help them fix their problems. :ROFLMAO:
Are the BCM files the same for all Lightnings? Because if you say it's safe, I don't mind helping peoiple do it like I have been with other side-loads.
